With a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing from the University of Kansas, Kansas City, graduate studies in anatomy and physiology, a Human Biology BS degree, and certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Ms. Geiger provides to the FCI faculty a unique clinical and medical perspective. Her industry experience includes serving as a healthcare provider, â??big pharmaâ?? sponsor employee, contract research organization (CRO) consultant, and industry employee trainer. FCI course attendees participating in Ms. Geigerâ??s training sessions have the added benefit of experiencing the creative learning techniques she incorporates from her participation in the Columbia University Senior Executive Program. In addition, Ms. Geiger was recently appointed to the Advisory Board of the Columbia University Senior Executive Program. Located in Overland Park, Kansas, Ms Geiger currently holds the title of President and Clinical Director at the company she founded in 2000, Clinical Research Management Services, Inc.. Ms Geiger assists emerging companies with identification of funding sources, regulatory services providers, laboratory space, and clinical consultants. Ms Geiger provides assistant with the development of business plans and global project management for clinical research programs with expertise in the implementation of cancer research trials world-wide.

During her time at PRA International, formerly PRA, Ms. Geiger performed several critical roles as the company expanded in the late nineties. As Director, Corporate Partnerships, she developed business plans for creation of new PRA International Initiative including responsibilities to identify, qualify, negotiate agreements, and maintain relationships with potential partners in countries where PRA planned to provide global service; she coordinated alliances, centralized information, and managed global vendor partnerships. As Director, Business Development, Ms Geiger directed business development efforts for site management organization and developed plans for expansion of site management network, and eventual divestiture of site management business. As Director of Operations, Ms. Geiger was responsible for the day to day operations of the PRA Charlottesville office providing supervision to Project Managers, Investigator Recruitment center, and administrative personnel in the Virginia region.
